Bring It On Mother Nature!

So we got over 16 inches of snow over the period of about a day and a half earlier this week. And it doesn't help that it's still in the twenties so none of it is melting... But just to show mother nature I wasn't going to let her get me down (and to do a little service) I spent 2 hours out in the snow (while it was still snowing- I know... not a great idea) and I scrapped snow and ice off of a TON of cars. I figured it would be one less thing that the snow would ruin that day. It wasn't too bad, although the snow did soak through my jeans fairly quickly. But it felt good to serve other people... plus one of my neighbors saw me out in the cold and brought out some hot cocoa! =)

An Eventful Weekend

This weekend there was a ton that went on! I went to an institute dance, watched a gymnastics meet, went down to St. George, and threw a party! It was pretty amazing!

A Little Less Wise

I went to the dentist over the break and discovered that I needed to have my wisdom teeth removed... So I flew home for the weekend (out of Vegas) and got the taken out. I though I was doing just great after day one- where I really only got chocolate shake ALL over myself and sent out "drunken" texts. But day two was when I started to hurt. Mom, Dad, and I went up to Santa Barbara to see Brittany play... but I kinda threw up all over myself in the car. The rest of the weekend went by without too much trouble. I got to see a lot of people again and go to Jamie Pinkston's farewell... So on monday I flew out- but not before having mom take me to Red's (with Breranne and Tela) where I got some mashed potatoes, rolls, and bbq sauce to take back with me to Utah. I then stopped at Nielsen's Frozen Custard on the drive back. All in all, a great day! (Other than the constant pain and puffy cheeks) =)

Home For The Holidays

It was a very eventful break! ( and I can't figure out how to get my pictures in order) But Nathan, Suni, some of Nathan's friends and I went to the Santa Monica pier for a while, then to Universal Studios City Walk for New Years Eve! There was an 80's cover band, TONS of people, and fireworks! =) ... sadly, no New Years kiss this year...

This is Breanne and I hitting up the beach one last time before I went home! ... I think I went about 4 or 5 times while I was home. And I think it gets prettier each time (man I hate mountains now...)

Dannelle was virtually our only form of entertainment... and man is she cute! (I miss her!!!!)

And this is a picture of the sunset up in SLO. I made three, count em, THREE trips up there to hang out with Brittany and watch her play basketball. It's so pretty up there!

And last but not least, here's a picture of only some of the cookies I made... For the record i baked over 38 dozen! Chocolate chip, peanut butter, snickerdoodle, and froster sugar cookies!!! (this was so that mom didn't have to go out and buy or bake for our neighbors and friends) I like to think I was helpful this Christmas with making those and pretty much cleaning the entire house, then decorating the inside and outside! I guess you could say that I was Santa's little helper =)
